College Easterns began in 1990 and has evolved over the past 20 years through multiple tournament directors and levels of competitiveness.  Over the years, many have come to escape cold weather and spend their Spring break at the ocean but even more have come to face the Seamen and Seaweed.  Both teams are proud of the tournament history and are grateful to those wishing to make the trip.  UNCW Ultimate looks forward to re-building Easterns into the most competitive and well run college tournament in the country.
